When we create a collection in our studio, we don't just want to bring you our designs. We want to bring you a story, to take you to it.
Each step of this process is an adventure, but undoubtedly the moment when everything comes together and materializes, is the moment to represent it in the photographs of the campaign, the shooting. At this point in the process we put a face and eyes to that part of us that we want to tell you.
All our editorials carry our DNA, but Mallorca Stories is also a journey to the purest interior of Castañer, the reflection of our greatest passions: the Mediterranean, nature and design.
Mallorca is a privileged island. Beyond the landscapes, the cliffs of the Sierra de la Tramuntana or the millenary olive trees, the secrets that this island still holds mean that no matter how many times you visit it, it will never cease to surprise you.
En la colección de FW22 nuestra misión es acercar la magia de sus rincones inexplorados y el magnetismo que emana de todos ellos.
Para lograr plasmar todo el sentimiento que la isla nos transmite, tuvimos la increíble oportunidad de trabajar con Marc Regàs, fotógrafo catalán y residente en la cosmopolita ciudad de Nueva York, que ha trabajado para firmas de lujo como Celine, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs y muchas editoriales como VOGUE, MUSE o el NY Times y Stefania Borras, directora creativa de DATURA, una marca atemporal, inspirada en el slow-life de la isla y en la que se trabajan tejidos de alta calidad de una manera sostenible y transparente.
Dos artistas cuya combinación- la visión de Marc y los estilismos y ropa de Datura Studio- han logrado darle una calidez única a una campaña que respira los aires del mediterráneo en un día de invierno, cuando el sol se cuela por la ventana, y calienta lo suficiente como para saber que estás en el paraíso. Que estás en Mallorca.
