For the Spring Summer 2023 season we have worked together with Diane Von Furstenberg, one of the most inspiring fashion designers in the industry.
This collaboration is framed in the empowerment of women, in not being afraid to say what we think and leave our mark. It is also a call to have fun and enjoy life, just as in the Mediterranean we are committed to joie de vivre.
All the pieces in the collection are designed to celebrate
yourself, empower yourself and all the women around you.
Diane's personal inclination towards practical and functional yet glamorous and feminine designs are reflected in each of the creations of this collection, dressing up the iconic Castañer espadrilles with colors and prints.
The three lines of the collection, animal print, lips and stripes, recall the iconic designs of the artist:
Animal print has become a must-have print. You will find it in neutral colors and in the fun combination of mauve and pink.
The multicolored stripes are reminiscent of the glamour of the 70's, with the golden touch they will become the ideal complement for any occasion.
The iconic lip print is a symbol of femininity and is also a nod to the snapshot taken by Andy Warhol of the designer in the seventies.
Like the rest of the espadrilles in our catalog, the designs signed by Diane Von Furstenberg are entirely handcrafted in the workshops of the family business, where her footwear is handmade with the same care as almost a hundred years ago.
